We’re still having winter weather here in Chicagoland, so of course I’m dreaming of summer and all of the warm joys that come with it.
I made this Field Guide to an Old Fashioned Summer last year, and it’s still one of my favorite visual bucket lists for children. We made our first visual summer bucket list a few years back when my son was still a toddler and we were looking at ten long weeks of Camp Mama. I knew myself enough to know that I needed some inspiration if our summer wasn’t going to turn into a stream of days where I resist the urge to let him watch *one more* episode of Curious George.
Fast forward a couple of years and a lot of digital design experience, and I’m excited to share this beautiful Field Guide to an Old Fashioned Summer with you.
My own personal summer bucket list includes guilty pleasure novels, slow mornings without any worries about being on time, and lots of gelato coffee concoctions that our local gelato shop sells. And of course all of the precious moments with my kids as depicted here in this field guide. 😉
What’s on your summer bucket list?
